The following stories are true, personal stories about parents/caregivers and children who needed help. At Family Involvement Center we support parents in their journey to self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is the strength of one's belief in one's own ability to complete tasks and reach goals. These stories shed light on how a few of the individuals and families we have worked with at FIC became empowered advocates for themsleves and for their children. We hope you will find hope and comfort in knowing that others have faced challenges similar to your own. You are not alone.
If you have a story to share, please contact Kelsey Engelbracht at (602) 559-9237 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to post it under a pseudonym or anonymously at your request. Sharing your story is a great way to combat bias and stigma and to inspire others who may be afraid to ask for help.
