Ann Gunty is a family support specialist with Child and Family Support Services in Flagstaff. She has a grown son and three teens at home - a son and twin daughters. She has a degree in marketing and international business from Santa Clara University and spent more than 10 years working in high tech marketing in Silicon Valley. Ann left the high tech field to become a stay-at-home mom, volunteered in a variety of parent organizations, and fostered a young relative while her kids were small. The search for diagnosis and treatment for her daughter’s behavioral health challenges led Ann to CFSS and the Family Involvement Center and their many training opportunities. As she educated herself on parent advocacy and children’s behavioral health, she began helping other parents seek training and support, leading to a career in Family Support. Ann joined the FIC Board in April 2016 and is excited to represent FIC in Northern Arizona.
