Rudy Mayfield was a Family Involvement Center Board Member from 2009 to 2015. During his tenure, he served as President, Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. He was an active participant in the Executive Committee and supported FIC in a number of community activities. Rudy was introduced to FIC in 2003 while working with Jane Kallal and others involved in the Maricopa County Collaborative Workgroup.
Rudy was employed at the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Department for thirty years. He retired in June of 2008 and served the last five years with the department as the Director of Treatment Services. After retirement, Rudy was involved in doing contract/consultant work in the areas of program development, marketing, and quality assurance for treatment providers until 2013.
Currently, Rudy is active in his church and is a Board Member with FIBCO Family Services which provides food, clothing and shelter for individuals and families in need. Rudy has a B.S. degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and a M.A. degree in Counseling Education from Northern Arizona University. On a personal note, Rudy is married and has two adult daughters and is involved with helping raise his grandchildren.
