Oly Cowles has over thirty years of experience working with troubled youth and families in Arizona’s juvenile justice system and is committed to the mission of Family Involvement Center.He served as the Community Corrections Administrator for the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections where he was responsible for the daily operations and management of the statewide juvenile parole department. He has served as a Juvenile Probation Officer and Supervisor for the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Department. Prior to working with the Juvenile Court, Oly was the Youth Service Director for Project Aware and a counselor at Arizona Boys Community.
Oly holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Counseling. He was the Executive Director of Arizona Counseling Associates, which provided consulting, assessment, and treatment services to the Maricopa and Gila County Juvenile Courts. Currently, Oly is the Service Coordinator for The Justa Center which provides resources and services for homeless seniors in downtown Phoenix.
