Support Groups & Direct-Support Services
Family Involvement Center (FIC) offers support groups and direct-support services for families and youth.
Support groups for parents and caregivers meet monthly to give families a safe place to talk about their challenges, inspire hope, connect with other families, and share successes.
For families with children receiving behavioral health services through Magellan of Arizona, FIC Parent Partners and Youth Mentors can provide short-term, one-on-one support. FIC Parent Partners are parents who have come far in their journeys raising children with behavioral health challenges and who know how to navigate the behavioral health system. FIC Youth Mentors are young adults who support youth in a variety of ways, including the acquisition of life skills. Parent Partners and Youth Mentors may be requested through your Child and Family Team or your child's case manager.
