Our Youth Mentor Program is designed to provide support, guidance, training and coaching for at-risk youth, with the goal of enhancing their life skills.  Youth Mentors are young adults whose support for youth targets the building of a relationship founded on mutual respect, trust, and confidence in the youth and their families.  An individualized plan with specific goals for skill development is coordinated with the Child and Family Team.

Life skill development areas include:

  • Self-Management

  • Social Relationships

  • Communication Skills

  • Study Skills

  • Self-Sufficiency and Interdependent Living

  • Vocational and Career Planning
