A major attribute of system transformation is Family/Youth involvement, which gives families the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of their youth's care.  It is the ability to speak and be heard, to actively participate in the designing and shaping of their child’s plan, and to have voice and choice in when and how services are to be delivered.  This can also be a very exciting time because each one of us has an opportunity to influence systems change with ideas, concerns, and strategies in pursuit of a common goal:  to improve the quality of life for our youth and families.
