Parent Partners PDF Print E-mail
Our Parent Partner Program provides individualized peer support to parents/caregivers through a parent/caregiver who is currently raising or has raised children with behavioral or developmental needs.  Services are interventions designed to achieve specific goals and are provided in the home, school and/or community.  For example, Parent Partners may assist with navigating the IEP process or the Child Protective Service (CPS) System, or teach skills needed to implement a Crisis and Safety Plan developed by the Child and Family Team.  Important to outcomes being achieved is the building of trust through active engagement with someone who can relate to what families are going through.
